The raw materials of the acetate materials are made from natural materials – cotton, with the addition of acetic acid.

Step 1:Grinding into powder: Place the cotton in the machine and cut it into fiber powde

Step 2:Mixing: The fiber powder is mixed and stirred evenly with liquid acetic acid to form a transparent jelly-like substance.

Step 3:Kneading and Pressing: Repeatedly knead and press the mixed acetate fibers, and then flatten the acetate fibers until they are as thin as paper (just like making pasta, first knead the dough well, and then roll the dough flat with a rolling pin).

Step 4:Coloring: Refer to the proportion in the color sample, add the coloring materials to the just flattened acetate fibers, and repeatedly knead and press until the colors are evenly distributed.

Step 5:Creating striped colors: Cut the acetate fibers of different colors into small pieces and put them into the machine to repeatedly knead and press until the color patches are tightly combined.

Step 6:Stamping: Put the colored acetate fiber plates one by one into the stamping machine for stamping to make the structure

more compact.

Step 7:Cutting: Cut the plates with compact structures after stamping them evenly into slices.

Step 8:Drying the Sheets: The sheet materials in sheet form are neatly hung on racks and left to air-dry in a cool environment.

Last step: Completion: After being air-dried for a long time, the sheet materials can be prepared for making glasses.

It takes at least three months for the sheet materials to complete the forming process. The quality of the sheet materials varies with the length of the drying time. The longer the drying time is, the less moisture they contain and the higher their stability will be.
